Meyer Denim Workshop is a Meyer family owned small-scale denim studio focused on timeless design, honest materials, and meticulous craftsmanship.
All denim work is carried out by Julia Meyer.
A founder Julia Meyer have been professionally involved into clothes industry as a designer and
production specialist for over 30 years and founded her own studio since 2017. She is originally from
Saint-Petersburg Russia moved to Helsinki Finland in 2013 by Ingermanland Finnish family routes.
She has Master of Design Arts with a speciality at Fashion Design, from Saint Petersburg Stieglitz State
Academy of Art and Design,
and Bachelor of technology in clothes production from Saint-Petersburg State University of Industrial
Technologies and Design.
Her experience in clothes production varied and changed through her life between art fashion, kids
clothing design, knitted dresses design and brought her to jeans industry.
Michael Meyer provides technical support for the workshop, maintains the machine tools, and runs the
of fice, ensuring the smooth operation of the business.
Our passion and perfectionism drive us to meticulously craft every detail of our work—from the first cut to
the last stitch—using traditional techniques and high-quality fabrics that age beautifully.
